Designed as a high velocity, small caliber round. 223 REMINGTON is able to be used in .223 REMINGTON, 5.56 NATO (5.56×45) and .223 WYLDE chambered rifles. The FMJ bullet is meant for general purpose usage. With the lower cost point of FMJ it allows for high volume of training. 223 REMINGTON is the quintessential American general purpose cartridge having been produced since the 50’s.
