Before contacting us please see if your question is answered below.

A: It changes by state. The Gun Control Act states that for rifle or a shotgun ammunition you must be 18 years of age or older. All other types of ammunition you must be 21 years of age or older. Check your local legislation to be certain you can purchase ammunition.

Yes, Nautilus Ammunition only sells new ammunition produced in our factory in Florida. We do not reload any ammunition or sell any reloading supplies.

A: We currently accept Visa, Discover, Master Card, and American Express. 

A: Yes! We offer local pickups!  After placing your order please email customerservice@nautilusammunition.com to schedule a pickup.

A: The order processing time is up to 2- 7 business days, not including holidays. Orders placed after 3 P.M. EST will be processed the next business day. Orders place on Friday after 3 P.M. EST will be processed the next business day.

A: All ammunition must be mailed through UPS ground shipping. For orders bigger than what can be shipped through ground will be shipped through UPS freight. We will be in contact with you if that’s the case.

Nautilus takes great pride in its products sometimes things happen, and the customer receives product that is damaged or defective. We are here to help. If you receive damaged or defective product, please contact us rapidly. We have a 30 day return policy. All contact must be made within 30 calendar days of ordering. If we are made aware of the problem within 30 days, you will be given either a full refund or a free replacement of the defective or damaged product. Note that the product must be defective or damaged as inspected by our team. Note that Nautilus Ammunition staff reserve the right to either refund or replace the product at our discretion. 

 

Nautilus Ammunition LLC is not responsible for product damage or defect committed by an exterior party. Our quality control ends once the product leaves the Nautilus Ammunition Property.

 

Requirements for returns:

  1. Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original product packaging.
  2. Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use.

 

To initiate a return, please complete the following steps:

  1. Email us about the return to customerservice@nautilusammunition.com. Add a photo of the defected or damaged product, if possible.
  2. If from the photo, we can decide to exchange or refund we will do so.
  3. If the defect or damage cannot be decided from the photo then it needs to be inspected, we will send you an order confirmation email containing mailing information including the shipping label. Shipping will be covered by Nautilus Ammunition LLC.
  4. Once it arrives inhouse, we will inspect it.
  5. After inspection we will reach out to you with either a full refund or a product exchange or we deemed the product damage was done by an exterior party outside of our control. In that case no refund or exchange can happen. 
  6. Refunds take about 2 weeks to process. Product exchanges will be sent out within 48 hours. Product exchange shipping will be covered by Nautilus Ammunition LLC. 

A: Due to the ever-changing climate of unconstitutional gun laws there are certain states and locations we won’t ship to. We also do not ship internationally. 

 

Locations we are unable to ship to:

  • Alaska
  • California
  • Chicago (we are able to ship to other parts of Illinois) 
  • Connecticut
  • Hawaii
  • Massachusetts
  • New York
  • Washington, DC

Other locations might be added on later we try to keep this list up to date. If we cannot ship to a state or location that is not listed, we will contact you by email.

A: Yes!

In order to ship to Connecticut we need the following:

  1. VALID copy of your Connecticut driver’s license or state issued ID
  2. ONE of the following:
    1. – A valid permit to carry a pistol or revolver issued under CT law.

    2. A valid permit to sell at retail a pistol or revolver issued under CT law.

    3. A valid eligibility certificate for a pistol or revolver issued under CT law.

    4. A valid long gun eligibility certificate issued under CT law.

    5. A valid ammunition certificate issued under CT law.

After Placing your order, you should receive an email from us detailing these additional requirements. Please be sure to check your email and follow the instructions to assist the approval process. 

Your shipping address must match at least one of the addresses on these two documents. Once these documents are received and approved, the order will be shipped. If your documents remain valid with matching shipping address, future orders will ship automatically. 

A: Yes!

We ship to Illinois, except the Cook County. Two documents are needed to ship to Illinois (outside of Cook County)

  1. Valid copy of your FOID card (Firearm Owner’s Identification Card)
  2. Valid copy of your driver’s license or IL state-issued ID

After Placing your order, you should receive an email from us detailing these additional requirements. Please be sure to check your email and follow the instructions to assist the approval process. 

Your shipping address must match at least one of the addresses on these two documents. Once these documents are received and approved, the order will be shipped. If your documents remain valid with matching shipping address, future orders will ship automatically. 

IL Statute: b-5) Any resident may purchase ammunition from a person outside of Illinois. Any resident purchasing ammunition outside the State of Illinois must provide the seller with a copy of his or her valid Firearm Owner’s Identification Card and either his or her Illinois driver’s license or Illinois State Identification Card prior to the shipment of the ammunition. The ammunition may be shipped only to an address on either of those 2 documents.

A: Yes! For New Jersey the following calibers can be shipped without proof of FOID card:

  • .223 Remington
  • 5.56×45 NATO

 

However, one of the following is required to ship all other calibers:

  1. Valid copy of your firearms purchaser identification card
  2. Valid copy of your permit to purchase a handgun.
  3. Valid copy of your permit to carry a handgun.

Once these documents are received and approved, the order will be shipped. If your documents remain valid with matching shipping address, future orders will ship automatically. 

 

 New Jersey Statutes Annotated 2C:58-3.3., our office is required to obtain a copy of one of the following documents before your order can be shipped: a copy of your valid firearms purchaser identification card, a valid copy of a permit to purchase a handgun, or a valid permit to carry a handgun.

A: Our product is shipped in plain brown shipping boxes. There is no branding or advertisement of the product anywhere on the box.
